Fried Prawns Chinese Style

Serves 2


10 oz. fresh prawns, deveined, do not remove the shell


2 tsps rice wine

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tsp salt

2 cloves garlic, crushed


1. Wash and dry the prawns and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Steam the prawns for 15 minutes in their marinade, then drain well and put in a dry wok with salt and garlic.

3. Cover the wok and cook for 1 minute over a very low heat. These prawns can be eaten either hot or cold.
