Tomato Rasam Recipe

Tomato Rasam 


4 big tomatoes

2 tsp rasam powder

5-6 garlic cloves

1 small bunch coriander leaves

3 red chillies

½ tsp mustard seeds

3 sprigs curry leaves

4 tsp oil

salt to taste


Wash tomato. Mash and collect its juice in a vessel.

Put double the quantity of water, crushed garlic cloves and salt to taste.

Put rasam powder, curry leaves (2 sprigs) and coriander leaves.

Season with mustard and curry leaves in oil, using a ladle.

Cook for a few minutes and allow it to simmer.

Simmer for about 20 minutes. take out from flame.

Cover vessel.
