Episode – 23
The next day or two went on as usual in school and at home with helping her mother with chores. Musika would pop in every so often munching on a piece of pink cheese to say hello and check on Gracie, before either floating out the window into the sky and disappearing or jumping down the genie’s bottle into his own tiny domain. Gracie had asked him a question about what was true wisdom. Because he seemed like such a smart little mouse. She wondered how a little creature like a mouse could be the companion to the great and wonderful Ganesha, Lord of the Remover of Obstacles. Musika explained that to be a Vahana, a sacred companion, was a great honor and that he had to learn alot at the Mouse University and meet certain challenges before he could become such an esteemed Vahana. Gracie wanted to know if Musika could give her a piece of wisdom because she needed a topic for her philosophy group at school that day, as the two of them sat atop Gracie’s bed that morning. Musika told her, after swallowing his last mouthful of pink cheese, “Mouse wisdom says, never go up the same path if it doesn’t lead to cheese the first time”! Gracie pondered this and Musika explained that it meant, if something proves empty or incorrect, it is unwise to think it will be different the next time and so therefore it is wise to move on to the next path until you find the one that is fruitful and correct. Then off he scampered through the window, up into the sky and floated away. Satisfied that she could totally entertain the group with that piece of mouse wisdom, Gracie happily set off for school, where Musika’s idea created quite a discussion.
