Mr. Okello explained that the launched AET’s quality in secondary education program has two tutors with six mentors adding that there will be outreach officers to supervise the mentors.

He disclosed that after the just commenced bridging, the 20 selected beneficiaries will first be allowed to sit for certified examinations prepared or set by Kampala International University in close collaboration with the Africa Educational Trust which shall be done after six months.

There will be no exception as the students will be restricted to obtain a certain credit to pass to the next level which shall now be a two-year Diploma as a distance learning program.

He clarified that Kampala International University provides teaching materials to the program.

“You can freely at your convenience time study at homes and workplaces while taking care of your family. The program proves very useful and it enables many to acquire certificates, Degrees, Masters and PhDs while at homes and workplaces,” Okello said.

He said they are confident with the tutorial management and mentoring department to deliver on the programme.
