Man, 24, faces 11 charges in Attempt Murder investigation, Lawrence Avenue East and Morningside Avenue area The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an Attempt Murder investigation.

It is alleged that:

– on Saturday, October 8, 2016 a man discharged a firearm inside a home, in the Lawrence Avenue East and Morningside Avenue area, striking a 22-year-old man

– the 22-year old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, Jamion Hines, 24, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Four counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
3) Two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
4) Aggravated Assault
5) Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound or Endanger Life
6) Point Firearm
7) Unauthorized Possession of a firearm

He appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, November 3, 2016, 10 a.m., courtroom 412.
