Detectives investigating the murder of 21-year-old Tomas Lapsevic in Hyde Way, Hayes on Sunday 30 August 2009 are renewing appeals for information one year on.

As part of the investigation, last October, officers issued the details of a man they are keen to trace in connection with the investigation.

He is 26-year-old Eineris Olsevicius, a Lithuanian man who was a resident at the address in Hyde Way, Hayes. He is described as a white, male, 6’03" tall, slim to proportionate build with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Eineris Olsevicius lived at the address together with a number of other Lithuanian nationals and the victim. He left the address following the murder, prior to police arrival, leaving a number of personal items behind.

Acting Detective Inspector David Kennett from the MPS Homicide and Serious Crime Command said: "Despite releasing a picture of a man we wish to speak to in connection with this enquiry and offering a substantial reward, a full year-on, we have been unable to hold anyone to account for the death of Tomas.

"I have no doubt there are people out there who can assist us and ensure that those responsible for Tomas’s death are identified and located so that they can be placed before the courts."

Up to a £20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for the murder is being offered.
