Police arrest seven men in child pornography bust, Chatham

On Wednesday, March 23, 2011, The Chatham-Kent Police Service, the Windsor Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit, the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Section, and the OPP Electronic Crime Section executed search warrants across Essex County and in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
 
As a result of these investigations, seven men stand charged with a total of 34 criminal offences, which all stem from computer use on the internet.

Over 20 computers, 500 DVDs, various external hard drives, and a variety of flash media were seized. 
In one of these cases, it is estimated that the offender possessed 500,000 images of children and that 40% of those images constitute images of child sexual abuse.
