88 year old woman Jacquline Gagnon goes missing in Edmonton

On Saturday, April 16, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an 88-year-old female was last seen on the wooden foot bridge over the North Saskatchewan River by Louis McKinney Park.
 
Over the weekend, in the area Gagnon was last seen, an extensive ground and water search was conducted by the Edmonton Police Service (patrol, search operations and the Air 1 helicopter), the Edmonton Fire Department, Regional Search and Rescue, and Search and Rescue Dog Association.
 
Despite the exhuastive search, Gagnon has not been found. Foul play is not suspected.
Gagnon is presumed deceased, however, EPS Missing Person Unit has taken over the case and will investigate any future leads.
Gagnon was wearing a grey toque, a bright red down-filled jacket with fur trim, black or brown pants and black boots at the time she went missing. She has shoulder length grey hair, weighs 90 lbs and is 5’2". Gagnon is diabetic and has heart problems.
