Two London men charged for 2009 arson

Police have laid charges in an arson investigation that occurred on February 1, 2009. The fire occurred at RGB productions at 17 Cuddy Boulevard at about 2:30 a.m. At the time the fire was deemed to be suspicious by the Ontario Fire Marshall and later was ruled to have been caused by human intervention.

Members of the London Police Arson Unit continued to investigate the fire as an arson and following up on several tips. One such tip indicated that there were two males responsible for this fire. Detectives followed this tip and learned that both parties had in fact planned this arson.

On May 17, 2011 Police arrested 22-year-old Nicholas Boileau-Patterson of London and on May 24, 2011 police arrested 27-year-old Jason Davis of London. Both males have been charged with; intentionally or recklessly cause damage by fire to 17 Cuddy Boulevard contrary to section 434 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
