The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a sexual assault investigation.On Wednesday, June 1, 2011, police responded to a call for a sexual assault at 1270 Finch Avenue West, Unit 18, at the Fire of Miracle Ministries Church.
It is alleged that:
– a woman attended the church for a prayer session,
– during the session, a Pastor at the church sexually assaulted her.
On Thursday, June 2, 2011, Emmanuel Animodi, 45, was charged with Sexual Assault.
He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, June 2, 2011.
Police believe there may be other victims.
