The Hamilton Police Service Vice and Drugs Unit have arrested and charged a 20 yr. old man with numerous gun related offences after searching his home in the City of Vaughan.

On Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Hamilton Police Service Vice and Drugs Unit, assisted by the Toronto Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit, executed a search warrant at a home located at 90 Filippazzo Rd. in the City of Vaughan.

The search resulted in the seizure of two loaded firearms, ammunition, body armor and a significant quantity of cash. The 20 yr. old resident of the home was arrested and held for a bail hearing in Toronto.

Seized: Sturm Ruger 9mm semi-automatic handgun (loaded)
Sturm Ruger 223 Assault Rifle (loaded)
Ammunition for both firearms as well as miscellaneous
ammunition
Body Armor
Approximately $35000.00 in cash
