On Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 12:45 a.m., police were called to the Chaplin Crescent/Spadina Road area for a stabbing.
It is alleged that:
– two suspects got into the victim’s car,
– the three people became involved in an argument regarding an illegal drug deal
– the suspects beat, then stabbed, the victim in the head, shoulder and arms
– the suspects fled, possibly in a silver late-model Acura
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A warrant has been issued for Payman Moazzani, 28, of Toronto.
Police are seeking the public’s help with any information concerning the second suspect.
