Detectives from the Vancouver Police Homicide Unit have been called in to investigate Vancouver’s 7th homicide of 2011 after police received a late night call regarding a deceased man in an East Vancouver apartment.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15th, a call came into 9-1-1 reporting that a man was deceased in an apartment in the 600 block Vernon Drive in East Vancouver. Officers arrived to find an adult male dead from unknown causes. A woman suffering from unknown injuries was found at the apartment and taken into custody.
