On Monday, July 18, 2011, at 2:05 p.m., officers from the TAVIS Rapid Response Team were on patrol in the Eglinton Avenue West/Allen Road area.

It is alleged that:

– police stopped a vehicle and seized a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver and a quantity of ammunition and drugs.

Delroy Keith Mattison, 25, of Brampton, has been charged with:

1) Weapons Dangerous,
2) Possession of Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose,
3) Carry Concealed Weapon,
4) Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Weapon,
5) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm,
6) Possession of a Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized,
7) Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized,
8) Unauthorized Presence of a Restricted Weapon in a Motor Vehicle,
9) Unauthorized Presence of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle,
10) Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition,
11) Possession of a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order,
12) Possession of Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order,
13) Possession of Unregistered Restricted Weapon,
14) Possession of Cocaine C.D.S.A 4(3),
15) Possession of a Controlled Substance.

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, room 101 at 10 a.m.
