Edmonton man Kyle Gayda found burned to death in a car

Edmonton Police Service Homicide detectives have tentatively identified the man whose burned remains were discovered at a secluded and abandoned farm property on Wednesday, July 27th.

Kyle Gayda was 27-years-old and from Edmonton.

The Medical Examiner also continues to investigate and a cause of death has yet to be determined.

Investigators, with support from Kyle’s family, are releasing recent photos of the 27-year-old and of his burned-out car in an effort to generate new tips. Kyle Gayda was described as caucasian, approximately 5’9" and 150 lbs.

Detectives continue to establish a timeline for Kyle Gayda and would like to hear from anyone with information. His burned-out 2010 Chevrolet Impala was found half a kilometre west off 156 Street near St. Albert Trail in a field near trees.
