Apple’s revolutionary co-founder Steve Jobs passed away at the age of 56. Steve had been suffering from major health issues and was battling an unusual form of pancreatic cancer since 2004. His health had deteriorated immensely over the past few years which prompted him to step down as the CEO of Apple Inc in August this year.

He died peacefully and has left his wife and four children behind. Jobs also formerly served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney. He was credited in Toy Story (1995) as an executive producer. His family thanked the "many people who have shared their wishes and prayers during the last year of Steve’s illness"

Grievances reacting to the icons death flocked in from all over the globe. President Barack Obama said” Steve was among the greatest of American innovators – brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it, The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his death on a device he invented."

Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook wrote on his page “Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you”

Oye! Times sends out heartfelt condolences to Steve Jobs family and would like to mention that this immense loss is not only yours but it’s a huge loss for the world in General.
