Two Teenagers arrested in connection with Cape Fear high school shooting

Two teenagers are in Police Custody this morning after a school shooting incident in North Carolina. A 15 year old girl was shot in the neck outside the cafeteria at Cape fear high school.

Surveillance video showed the two suspects with a rifle inside the school. One of the suspects is 18, who will appear in court today and the other suspect is a teenager who is only 15 years old. The name and details of the 15 year old has not been released due to his age.

The Victim i.e. the 15 year old girl from North Carolina was admitted to the hospital in stable condition after she was shot in the neck.

According to early reports the 15 year old girl named Caitlyn Abercrombie was taking her lunch outside her school on Monday when three adults and a few fellow students heard a popping sound and witnessed her falling over.

None of the witnesses said that they saw anyone with a gun.

“I didn’t see a weapon, I did not see a gunman, I just heard the popping, and I saw her drop and holding her neck. You could see the blood pouring out,” fellow student Shane Faircloth said.
