Investigators from the Homicide Bureau are investigating circumstances surrounding an incident where a Brampton man was fatally shot.
On Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 11:51 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Newby Court for a disturbance call. Police located a victim with obvious signs of trauma as a result of a gunshot wound.
The 23 year old Brampton man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide investigators are continuing to work on leads in an attempt to locate the suspect(s) responsible for this incident.
