On Tuesday, January 31, 2012, members of the TPS Sex Crimes Unit, Child Exploitation Section, executed a search warrant at a home in Toronto.
It is alleged that:
– the accused was in contact with young girls, using social networking websites: Nexopia.com, Facebook.com and MSN Messenger
– the man used profile pictures of a young man police believe lives in the Toronto area
– the man used the following email addresses and user names: sirazb@hotmail.com, shiraz900@hotmail.com, “sirazb”, “alex_isme” and “a1.sirop”
– the man counselled young girls to perform sexual acts online
Shiraz Nariman, 42, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Luring a Child Under 16 years
2) Invitation to Sexual Touching
3) Accessing Child Pornography
4) Make Child Pornography
5) two counts of Possession Child Pornography
