On Wednesday February 1, 2012, police responded a call for unknown trouble in the area of Clendenan Avenue/Maria Street.
The lifeless body of a 31-year-old woman was discovered in a rolled-up carpet in a laneway.
It is alleged that:
– the accused moved a deceased woman’s body from within an apartment, wrapped her body in a carpet, and left it in the laneway in the Clendenan Avenue/Maria Street area
On Thursday, February 16, 2012, Aaron Johnston, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) Performing an Indignity to a Dead Body
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 2 p.m, room 101.
