District 4 RCMP Sackville is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a business in Aulac, N.B.
Police along with the Point de Bute and Sackville Fire Departments responded to a fire around 11:30 p.m. on April 22, 2012, at Smoker’s Heaven. An alarm alerted emergency responders to the fire. When they arrived large amounts of smoke were coming from the rear of the building.
Cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by Sackville RCMP and the Fire Marshal.
There were no injuries and the building is considered to be a total loss.
