A woman from West Glassville, N.B. and her infant daughter have been identified as the victims of a two vehicle collision on April 24, 2012 in Glassville, N.B.

21-year-old Kaitlyn Nicole Denny was the driver of the car that was struck by a transport truck hauling lumber. The collision occurred at the intersection of Route 107 and the Glassville Road at around 2:15 p.m. She died at the scene along with her 7-week-old daughter, Brianna Rowan.

The car appears to have entered the intersection crossing directly into the path of the transport truck.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured in the collision.

Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane until midnight so District 7 RCMP could conduct an investigation and road crews could remove the debris from the collision.

The investigation is continuing.
