On the evening of July 9th, at approximately 8:00 p.m., RCMP in Enfield responded to a single vehicle rollover in the northbound lane of Highway 102 near Milford.
The preliminary investigation determined the driver of a 2002 Dodge Neon lost control of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to roll. Dr. Mahadevan (Roger) Natarajan, 72-years-old, who was living in Antigonish, passenger was brought to the QEII Hospital by Life Flight at approximately 8:37 p.m. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
Emergency Health Service, Department of Transportation, Milford and Elmsdale Fire Departments and RCMP Traffic Services were called for assistance. Traffic on Highway 102 was shut down for a period of time in both the north and southbound directions.
The investigation into the collision is continuing.
