The Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau are investigating the murder of 32 year-old, Dwayne Alexander Thompson of Brampton.

On Monday, November 2, 2012, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police received several 911 calls regarding gun shots being fired near 7170 Darcel Avenue, in Malton.  Police responded and located the victim, suffering from life threatening wounds.  The male was pronounced at the scene.

There was a group of males that are believed to be associated to the homicide; however their descriptions are not available for release at this time.

Homicide investigators are searching for a vehicle associated to the victim, a 2007 Nissan Altima bearing Ontario licence plate number BNCH 717.  If located, police are asking people not to approach the vehicle, but to call police.
