Toronto man Daniel Younis faces two counts related to child luring investigation

On Thursday, February 21, 2013, police arrested a man in connection with a child-luring investigation.

It is alleged that:

– between December 2012 and February 2013, the accused engaged a 16-year-old boy through cell phone and internet chats

– the victim sent images of himself to the accused using his cell phone 

Daniel Younis, 24, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Luring a Child Under 18
2) Attempt Make Child Pornography

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, February 22, 2013, room 306, at 10 a.m.

At the time of arrest, Daniel Younis was employed as the Recruiting Coordinator and Running Back coach for the York University Lions football team.

Police believe there may be more victims.
