Commenting over Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau’s confession that he smoked marijuana even after being elected to Parliament, Prime Minister Stephen Harper alleged that his actions “speak for themselves.” It was recently unveiled by Mr. Trudeau in a latest interview that he used pot almost three years ago, and keeping in mind that he won a seat in the Commons in the 2008 election, it automatically means that he was elected Member of Parliament at the time.

Speaking to the audience at the latest stop of his annual summer tour of northern Canada in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, Mr. Harper stated that “for Mr. Trudeau, I think those actions speak for themselves and I don’t have anything to add.” When inquired about his remarks over the controversial confessions of Mr. Trudeau, the Prime Minister immediately paused to drink water, cleared his throat, and then answered in a manner indicating he was scornful of Mr. Trudeau’s conduct.

The Liberal Leader informed a reporter of Huffington Post that he last smoked marijuana about three years ago at his house in Montreal. He narrated in an explanatory tone that “we had a few good friends over for a dinner party, our kids were at their grandmother’s for the night, and one of our friends lit a joint and passed it around. I had a puff.” He also added in the same interview that marijuana “has never really done anything for me,” and that he has never experimented with any harder drugs.

  1. I wonder how many politicians could pass a drug screen,,if a man working in a menial job has to pass a drug test shouldn’t the people running our countries also be required to prove they play by the rules they make?
