Halifax police arrest a Halifax man and a woman in relation to murder investigation of Matthew Thomas Sudds

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit made two arrests this morning in connection with the homicide of Matthew Sudds.

On October 14, 2013, the body of 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Sudds was located in a ditch along Africville Road in Halifax. An autopsy was conducted the same day by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service and his death was ruled a homicide. The investigation revealed that Mr. Sudds was last seen by friends on the afternoon of October 10, 2013. 

Earlier today, investigators arrested two suspects in connection with this homicide. A 29-year-old Halifax man was arrested without incident in Halifax and a 23-year-old woman, originally from Halifax, was arrested in Ontario. They are currently in custody and being interviewed.
