Phuong Thi-Bich Vu and Van Son Phan arrested for operating Marihuana Grow op in London

A 37 year old female from Brampton and a 46 year old male from Woodbridge are facing several charges after London Police Guns and Drugs Section, with assistance from the London RCMP Drug Section, executed a search warrant at an address located at 1031 Griffith St in the city of London Ontario.

On Wednesday October 13, 2010, at approximately 8:45am, police entered the residence and located a large scale marihuana grow operation. They also found that hydro had been illegally connected, to help run this illegal industry.

Police arrested two people and seized the following items: 918 marihuana plants, in various stages of growth, with a value of $918,000; a 2003 Mercedes Benz , and various items of paraphernalia and growing equipment used in the production of this type of operation, with a value of $6000.

Charged are 37 year old Phuong Thi-Bich VU, of Brampton, and 46 year old Van Son PHAN, of Woodbridge, jointly with one count each of cultivation of marihuana, possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and the theft of hydro.
