Gerald David Green charged for breaking into homes in Winnipeg

On October 20, 2010 members of the District 3 Crime Unit acted on information received and arrested an adult male regarding a break and enter crime spree which took place between July and September 2010.

It is alleged that the accused forced entry through doorways and on occasion cut a window screen in order to gain access. During the break-ins, items such as: jewellery, money and clothing were removed.

The following locations were involved:

· 100 block of Ferndale Avenue
· 200 block of Renfrew Street
· Rue St. Jean-Baptiste
· 2 x First 100 block of Lanark Street
· First 100 block of Sherbrook Street
· 300 block of Dumoulin Street
· 400 block of Kylemore Avenue
· 300 block of Notre Dame Street
· 300 block of Lockwood Street
· 400 block of Jubilee Avenue

Gerald David GREEN, 32 years has been charged with the following offences: Break and Enter (dwelling house) x 10, Theft Under $5,000.00 and Breach Probation.

He has been detained in custody.
