On December 6th, 2010, at approximately 10:20 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received a call to a residence within the 700 block of McGee Street for an intoxicated and disorderly male who was refusing to leave.

At approximately 10:25 p.m., Officers attended and met with a male who was subsequently detained under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

Upon being placed into the rear of the cruiser car, the suspect male began to kick at the door and as Officers attempted to restrain him, he allegedly swung his fist, grazing the chin of a 41 year old male officer. Neither officer required medical attention.
