Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female at 10100 Sapling Way about 7 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 10).
The victim, Ebony M. Murrell, 17, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K.J. Deese and Officer N.K. Wackman reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 10100 block of Sapling Way and found the victim with a gunshot wound and lying on the sidewalk. Paramedics arrived and pronounced her deceased.
There are no known witnesses, suspects nor motive in the shooting at this time.
