Peel Regional Police’s Homicide Bureau are actively searching for Jerome DERBY, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder.

On Sunday, November 7, 2010, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a call on Ambler Drive, in Mississauga, for a victim who had been shot. Shortly after arriving, officers discovered Donald Richard GRANT, a 27 year-old male from Toronto, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder has been issued for the arrest of Jerome DERBY, a 20 year-old male from Toronto. Mr. Derby is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall, weighing 140 lbs., with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair.

Mr. Derby is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by members of the public.

Investigators believe that Jerome DERBY is somewhere in the G.T.A. and are urging anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police.
