Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following an attempted murder in the City of Vaughan.

On Saturday, January 8, 2011, at approximately 4 a.m., the victim, a 28-year-old male from Brampton, was shot outside of La Shish Bar and Grill, located at 4040 Steeles Avenue West. The shooting took place following an argument between the victim and the suspect.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark coloured Porsche Cayenne with an unknown female passenger. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as:

 Male
 Middle Eastern
 25 to 30 years old
