EPS Homicide Detectives have charged a man in connection with a homicide on Jan. 28, 2011 at 114 Avenue and 82 Street.
Robert FONTAINE, 54, was charged with 2nd degree murder, offer an indignity to a dead body and possession of a weapon. The accused will appear in court on the morning of Feb. 2, 2011.
The EPS Homicide Section identified the deceased male found covered in snow early Friday, Jan. 28, as 32-year-old Christopher Allan Pirie of Edmonton.
The cause of death is not being released at this time.
