Whitby man Gregory John Trumbley charged for child pornography

A Whitby man has been charged with making and distributing child pornography over the Internet after a lengthy investigation.

In late January 2011, the Toronto Police Service advised the DRPS of a suspect who was allegedly distributing child pornography over the Internet. Members of the DRPS Sexual Assault Unit worked closely with the Toronto Police Internet Child Exploitation section and executed a search warrant at a residence on Craydon Road in Whitby yesterday.

As a result of the search warrant, a number of computers were seized. In addition, the investigation led to the identification of a young female victim whose images were being distributed over the Internet.

Gregory John TRUMBLEY, age 29, of Craydon Road in Whitby is charged with: Making Child Pornography; Distribution of Child Pornography; Making Child Pornography Available x2 and Possession of Child Pornography.
