In a spring training baseball game on Wednesday, the Minnesota Twins defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-0 with notable performances from Kala’i Rosario and Willi Castro. Rosario hit a three-run home run, while Castro had three hits, including two doubles, and scored a run.

The Twins got on the scoreboard in the fourth inning with a run-scoring double by Matt Wallner off Blue Jays’ pitcher Alek Manoah. In the fifth inning, Castro added to the lead with another double that drove in Brooks Lee. Lee also hit a double that resulted in an RBI, and Tyler White contributed with a single that scored a run in the seventh inning, putting the Twins up 4-0. Rosario sealed the victory with his three-run homer in the ninth inning.

Minnesota’s pitching staff was dominant, limiting the Blue Jays to only four hits. Bailey Ober started with two no-hit innings, and Randy Dobnak earned the win with 2 2/3 innings pitched, one hit, one walk, and one strikeout.
