“We are very pleased about the signing of Denham Brown. For many years Denham has been a role model to younger players around the country. Denham will provide leadership and experience to our team and be a great example for youth in our community,” said Gary Durrant, President of Basketball Operations.
The 6’5” shooting guard and former University of Connecticut Huskie is coming off a stint with the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team (SMNT) in Mar Del Plata, Argentina where he averaged 6.6 ppg in the FIBA Americas Championship for Men/Olympic Qualifying Tournament. While at Connecticut, Brown, a Toronto native, won an NCAA Championship as a sophomore playing for legendary coach Jim Calhoun.

In high school, Brown gained notoriety by once scoring 111 points in a high school game while playing for West Hill Collegiate in Scarborough, Ontario.
“Denham has had an accomplished career at all levels and has represented Canada since 2003 and has also played in some of the best leagues around the world,” comments Durrant.
Brown and the other pre-training camp participants will be available for questions and one-on-one interviews this Thursday, October 13 at the Oshawa Power Media Day.
