The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that the team has recalled forward Nikita Soshnikov from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Soshnikov has collected three points (one goal, two assists) in six games with the Marlies this season. The 23-year-old made his NHL debut last season and recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in 11 games with the Maple Leafs.
Soshnikov was signed by Toronto as a free agent on March 20, 2015.
The Maple Leafs return to the ice tonight when they host the Edmonton Oilers at 7:30 p.m.
