On Day 2 of the second test match, Kirk Edwards and Marlon Samuels scored half-centuries to lead West Indies to 158 for 4 in response to New Zealand first innings of 441 at stumps on Thursday.
The weather did prove a barrier in day’s play but Edwards and Samuels showed resilience at the top of the order, though the late dismissal of Chanderpaul again favore dteh hosts to dominate the game.
