The record 29 time Serie A champions will arrive with a full roster to face off against Portuguese powerhouse Sporting Clube de Portugal at BMO field.

The game, which takes place on Saturday July 23rd at 7:00P.M., will feature many of Juventus’ 2006 FIFA World Cup Winners including Alessandro Del Piero, Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, Andrea Barzagli, Luca Toni, Vincenzo Iaquinta and present Italian National Team Stars , Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio, Simone Pepe, Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri, as well as new comers Reto Ziegler, Stefan Lichtsteiner, Michele Pazienza and many more.

Sporting Clube de Portugal is no stranger to the podium as the successful life of the club has seen Sporting win 18 Portuguese Super Liga titles, as well as appearing in UEFA Champions League matches 17 times, and in eight UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup matches. Sporting has also won the Portuguese Cup 14 times, with the most recent in the 2006/07 season.

The complete Juventus FC roster will be announced in the coming days.

Turin-based Juventus was founded in 1897 and is one of the most successful and recognized teams not only in Italy, but the entire world. According to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, an organization recognized by FIFA, Juventus was Italy’s best club of the 20th century and the second most successful European club in the same period. Overall, the club has won 51 official competitions, more than any other team in Italy; 40 in the national First Division, which is also a record, and 11 in UEFA and world competitions.

The Herbalife World Football Challenge is a tournament which runs from July 13th to August 6 and involves 5 MLS Teams and European giants Manchester United, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City as well as famed Mexican clubs Chivas de Guadalajara and Club America in cities across Canada and the United States.
