Moksha Yoga Etobicoke Announces The “Living Your Moksha Challenge” Toronto, ON April 26, 2012 – Moksha Yoga Etobicoke will soon embark on a journey that will literally transform lives, and everyone is invited. From May 1 to June 18, 2012 Moksha Yoga Etobicoke will be one of 61 Moksha studios worldwide taking part in the second annual Living Your Moksha (LYM) challenge, an event created to bring yoga practice to life – on and off the mat! “We opened our studio to share the endless benefits of yoga with our community, and now we can help bring the practice from the mat into real life.” Says co-owner Gabriela Nicole Doiu. “We’re thrilled to introduce the Living Your Moksha challenge to the Etobicoke community.” Says co-owner Cathy Braund-Pereira. “We have a variety of fun, unique activities planned that we know participants will appreciate.” For $10 per person, participants are invited to register online at www.livingyourmoksha.ca. All net proceeds go to Free the Children (www.freethechildren.com), a charitable organization dedicated to empowering, educating and engaging youth worldwide. Through a combined effort, the Moksha family has set a goal of $100,000 to go towards building seven schools in seven different countries. Once a week for seven weeks, participants will receive a challenge, via email newsletter, based on the Moksha Yoga’s seven pillars: be healthy, be accessible, live green, Sangha support, reach out, live to learn and be peace. Each challenge will help participants develop a deep understanding and connection with each pillar through such activities as daily yoga practice, healthy diet and meditation. In addition to weekly challenges, Moksha Yoga Etobicoke will host a mid-challenge party, the Sangha Soiree, on May 26, 2012, as well as such unique community events as: yoga-in-the-park and a special class taught by Moksha co-founder Ted Grand.
