On Sunday, May 27, 2012, the Aga Khan Foundation Canada will hold their annual World Partnership Walk. Registration and announcements will take place at Metro Hall prior to the event. Some participants including the VIPs and dignitaries will then proceed to King Street West and the walk will begin at 11 a.m. The corporate teams and groups will form up on Wellington Street West, west of Simcoe Street, and will join in the walk as it arrives at this location. The event organizers anticipate approximately 6,000 to 8,000 participants.

Wellington St. W. John Street To York St. 10:30a.m., -1:30 p.m.,
N/B University Ave. Front Street To College Street 11 a.m., – 12:30 p.m.,
S/B University Ave. Front Street To College Street 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.,

Walkathon Route: (Commences at 11 a.m.,)
Formation Area Metro Hall
Eastbound King Street West (Eastbound Curblane ONLY) AND
Eastbound Wellington St. W.
Southbound Simcoe Street (2 Westerly lanes ONLY)
Eastbound Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)
Northbound University Avenue (Northbound Lanes)
Northbound Queen’s Park (Northbound Lanes)
Turn Around Queen’s Park at south end of Queens Park Crescent
Southbound Queen’s Park (Southbound Lanes)
Southbound University Avenue (Southbound Lanes)
Westbound Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)
Dispersal Area Metro Hall

The TTC will not incur significant service disruptions during this event.

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
