It’s hard enough being a kid in today’s world. Imagine what it’s like if you’re a little different. Tales of a Fourth Grade Lesbo tackles that subject in a light-hearted way, with a dance-filled romp through the lives of four pre-teen girls growing up gay in the early 1990s. It takes the exploration of adolescent sexuality and turns it on its ear through repurposed pop songs and choreographed dance numbers. Tales of a Fourth Grade Lesbo deals with a serious subject, but does so in a way that is never heavy-handed or preachy.
