The Italian in Me tells the story of what happens when an innocent aspiring actress moves from North America to Rome to try to be a film star. Raised on good old fashioned values, her eyes are opened wide by what she finds in Rome. With her days filled with fruitless encounters with perverts, priests and producers, she quickly learns that things in the Eternal City are not as “Holy” or as romantic as she had imagined. The production stars Dina Morrone, consistently one of Theatre West’s most popular stars.
