The always-innovative Peter Gabriel is known for both his aural and visual artistry — like his ground-breaking “Shock the Monkey” video — so it makes sense that he and director Blue Leach would take advantage of the latest high-definition 3-D technology to capture the stunning images and sound of a live London concert in 2011. On tour with his 46-piece New Blood Orchestra, the iconic singer-rocker debuts a symphonic makeover of his back catalog, reinventing such songs as “Red Rain,” “Digging in the Dirt,” “In Your Eyes” and “Don’t Give Up,” along with selections from his Scratch My Back disc of covers, with a true feast for the eyes and ears.
