Richard Tanner’s funny one-man show Small Parts chronicles his decades-long journey from aspiring actor to struggling actor to (sometimes) working actor. Set against the contrasting entertainment meccas of New York and Los Angeles, this engaging performance explores the myriad absurdities of show business — as well as the gap between unbridled ambition and hardcore reality — with humor, compassion, wit and an arsenal of audio-visual delights. There’s even some audience participation. Small Parts was a hit earlier this year at the Fringe Festivals and is directed by Jim Fall (Trick, The Lizzie McGuire Movie).
