"Summer School: A Live Stage Parody"

Starring Mark Harmon, Kirstie Alley and Courtney Thorne-Smith, the Carl Reiner-directed 1987 comedy Summer School is a modern classic that never got the credit it deserves. Or at least that’s what Los Angeles-based comedian Patrick O’Sullivan (Point Break Live!, All About Walken) believes, so he’s organized a live stage parody tribute of the film with a talented cast who loves the film as much as he does. Summer School follows an immature gym teacher who is forced to teach remedial English to a rag tag group of misfits over the summer session. The hilarity that ensues will be translated to stage in this first-ever live staging of one of the most underrated movies of the ’80s.
