The Alumnae Theatre presents the WORLD PREMIERE of Shirley Barrie’s I Am Marguerite April 10-25, 2015. I Am Marguerite shares a little known heroic story of survival from Canada’s early history. In 1542 Marguerite de Roberval was banished to the Isle of Demons off the north coast of Newfoundland for choosing love over duty. Torn between love, despair, remorse and the desire for revenge, she struggles to decide whether to live or die.
