Known for his roles in such major films as The Hustler, Cook Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting, the actor/director was also a professional race car driver, food company owner, social activist and philanthropist. In 1988 he founded the SeriousFun Children’s Network, a global family of no-cost camps and programs for children with serious illnesses which has served 290,076 children since its inception.
