Join us on Thursday, August 27th, from 7-9pm, for a FREE concert by Up Jumped Swing featuring Miz Debbie, as a part of Old Town Toronto’s Music in St. James Park concert series. Come to the park at 6:30pm for a free swing dance tutorial courtesy of Swing Toronto.
Up Jumped Swing featuring Miz Debbie are an eight piece ensemble that play New Orleans style dance music, jazz, swing and blues. The band has performed for many local Toronto swing dance events hosted by Toronto Lindy Hop, Bee’s Knees and U of T Swing. The band is made up of veteran musicians of the New Orleans style.
